Meet Cristian Martinez, Diverse Faculty Fellow at Harper

Cristian Martinez is Harper College’s newest Diverse Faculty Fellow. His field is biology; his passion is insects. He received his Ph.D. in insect ecology at the University of Illinois - Chicago, where he also obtained his bachelor’s in biology. Urn Envy Chosen for Fourth Annual President's Art Selection Award

Mary Jane Kirkwood has been an art student at Harper for 25 years. She entered her piece, Urn Envy, in the Spring 2018 Juried Student Exhibition because she had received so many compliments on the piece, particularly the glazing.
