  • Free Services: All the services at the Wheeling American Job Center are free for eligible job seekers. 
  • Educational Goal Planning and Career Guidance: Whether you are looking for a new career or a change of direction, AJC staff can help you plan your educational goals and guide you through the best options for your needs.
  • Career-Related Workshops: Learn new skills and strategies to boost your career prospects with our workshops, offered both in person and online. Topics include resume writing, interview skills, networking, and more.
  • Job Search and Application Assistance: Find and apply for the jobs that match your qualifications and interests with our assistance. 
  • Career Assessments: You may also check out this online career workshop or attend a virtual live career workshop where you will take career assessments, learn how to understand the results, and see how they relate to Areas of Interest and Programs of Study at Harper College.
  • Resume and Cover Letter Writing Assistance: Make a great first impression with your resume and cover letter. The AJC can help you create, update, and customize them for different employers and positions.
  • Interview Technique Guidance: Prepare for your interviews with guidance. We can help you with mock interviews, common questions, dress code, and follow-up.
  • Job Search Boards: Browse the latest job openings in your area and beyond.
  • Internet Access, Computers, and Fax Machines: Access the internet, use computers, and send faxes. You can use them for your job search, online applications, and research.
