Student Employment

Students can earn money to be used for paying educational costs through Federal Work Study and Student Aide opportunities.

Federal Work Study  and Institutional Student Aide are offered and administered by the institution to provide opportunities for part-time employment to students to help pay their educational expenses. Students are responsible for finding qualified employment. Funds are paid out through a paycheck, as earned.

Federal Work Study is a federally funded program that is awarded to students with financial need.  Institutional Student Aide positions are funded by Harper College.

Student employment positions are available through many offices on campus and offer a variety of different types of jobs. These positions often are more flexible for our students than off-campus part-time jobs because they are designed to accommodate student schedules.

Eligible students work part time up to 20 hours per week.
