Harper's 50th anniversary: Ties run deep for many families like the Basches

The Basch family, which fled Cuba's new communist regime in 1960 to settle in the Northwest suburbs, believes education opens doors to opportunity. For many of the Basches, Harper College has been that gateway. During this 50th anniversary year, we will share stories like the Basches' to honor our proud past, and we'll aspire to an even stronger future.
