Harper College offices are currently closed for an all-campus meeting. Offices will reopen shortly after 10 a.m. to serve students.
Harper College’s Music Department will bring a festival atmosphere to campus with the 2022 summer concert series.
Outdoor performances will feature Harper faculty, students, alumni and members of the community and take place on Thursday nights in June and July at the Drs. Kenneth and Catherine Ender Pavilion, on the north side of campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine.
The series is becoming an annual tradition at the college. Concerts range from the Pan Go steel drum band (June 9) and String Shredders ensemble (June 16) to jazz group Jeff Hedberg & C11 (June 30) and the Guitar Legacy concert (July 14), featuring past and present students and faculty.
All concerts are free, open to the public and begin at 7:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnics, blankets and lawn chairs. Indoor restrooms are available. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held in the Building J Theatre, J143. For more information, call the Harper Box Office, 847.925.6100.
