Harper College will be closed Tuesday, November 5 in observance of Election Day.
Harper College has canceled 2021 winter sports competition to help protect the health and safety of our student athletes. This decision impacts men’s basketball, women’s basketball, women’s volleyball and men’s wrestling and is consistent with the North Central Community College Conference’s (N4C) recent announcement it planned to cancel the 2021 winter sports schedules.
Hawks athletics will continue to align with the college’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As all classes will be taught remotely for the first eight weeks of the spring 2021 semester, teams will not be permitted to practice or compete during this period.
If public health conditions improve and we are confident the college can provide a safe environment, athletics at Harper may resume March 15, 2021, with the spring sports season. We are hopeful training and conditioning for our student athletes may begin on campus at that time with baseball, softball, men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s and women’s track and field.
