Harper College will be closed Tuesday, November 5 in observance of Election Day.
Harper College will hold a free seminar on the new tax laws and their impact on individual taxpayers.
The Tax Reform Essentials seminar takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, at the Wojcik Conference Center, Building W, on the College’s main campus at 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine.
Chartered Consultants owner Richard Hohol, Certified Financial Planner and Enrolled Agent, will highlight key provisions such as new tax brackets, modified deductions, credits and more.
The event is hosted by the Harper College Annuitants Association and the Harper Professional Advisors Committee, comprised of Harper College Educational Foundation volunteers who have professional expertise in the areas of estate planning, law, financial planning, income tax, accounting, insurance and real estate. The Law Offices of Melanie Witt is sponsoring the event.
