Harper College will be closed Tuesday, November 5 in observance of Election Day.
Harper College’s popular “Jazz Under the Stars” concert will help kick off the College’s 50th anniversary celebration.
The annual event, which is free and open to the public, features the Ken Spurr Jazz Quintet. It will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at the Outdoor Pavilion at the College’s main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine.
Convenient parking is located in lots 8-11 on the north side of campus. Refreshments will be provided. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved inside to the Student Center.
Harper will celebrate its 50th anniversary this academic year through graduation in May 2018. The entire community is invited to join in a series of events that honor Harper’s proud past while looking toward the College’s strong future.
