Ryan Helsdingen was about to commit to the University of Illinois when he heard Harper was launching its Engineering Pathways program. The oldest of six kids, he just couldn't pass up the opportunity to save tens of thousands of dollars. Five years later, the Harper (and U. of I.) alum has minimal debit and recently landed a full-time job working as an electrical engineer at a downtown Chicago firm. Read More
