Rec on the Go

Rec on the GoRec on the Go provides Harper students and Harper employees opportunities to engage in recreational activities on campus for free. Activities are short in duration (30 minutes) and can be performed in regular clothes. Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing.

Rec on the Go Schedule (Building D Rotunda)

  • Monday, February 24 from 11 - 11:30 a.m.  -  Crunch Time 
  • Monday, March 3 from 11 - 11:30 a.m. - BWT (Body Weight Training)
  • Monday, March 10 from 11 - 11:30 a.m. - Tone Zone
  • Monday, March 17 from 11 - 11:30 a.m. - Go with the Flow 

Workout Descriptions

Crunch Time: Core and Abdominal Strength Workout

This class is designed to work your abdominals, back and core. A strong core helps relieve lower back pain, improves posture and assists in injury prevention. Mats are provided. All levels.

BWT: Body Weight Training Strength Workout

This class uses your own body weight as resistance to perform strength exercises to help improve overall muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility. Mats are provided. All levels.

Tone Zone: Resistance Band Workout

This class focuses on building strength and muscle tone using resistance bands to target all of the major muscle groups with the ability to adjust the intensity. Mats and bands are provided. All levels.

Go with the Flow: Chair Based Stretch Workout 

The classes can help improve balance, strength, and flexibility, and reduce stress. They can also be beneficial for people who have difficulty getting up and down from the floor. All levels
