Harper College offices will be closed Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.
Join Harper to celebrate the 2024 eclipse. Covering 94% of the sun, an event like this only happens here a few times per century. Experience fun, interactive activities, talk with Harper faculty and meet local amateur astronomers. All ages are welcome to celebrate this celestial event safely with Harper!
12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Harper Quad (Between Building F and D)
Park in Lot 3-6 or the parking garage
Look for signage leading from parking to event
This family-friendly event is FREE and open to the community. Registration is not required. Eclipse glasses will be available at the event for attendees and will be distributed on a first come first served basis. Activities will be outside, weather permitting. Groups welcome.
