Are you a student at large? Students at large take one or more classes at Harper, but aren't enrolled in a full degree or certificate program. Often students at large take classes during the summer to transfer to other colleges. This guide will help you through each step of the enrollment process:
Apply online at harpercollege.edu/apply. Payment of a $25 nonrefundable fee is required at the time of application.
If you are taking a course that requires a pre-requisite that was fulfilled at another institution, provide your transcript from the other institution. An unofficial transcript as proof of completion is sufficient.
The MyHarper Student Portal is your primary source of information and communication from the college. Please become familiar with it before your class begins. You can also look up your username or reset your password from the login page.
After you login with your username and password, review your New Student Checklist for next steps. The checklist may include taking placement exams or supplying SAT scores, transcripts, or other information.
Before you register for classes, estimate your Tuition and Fees**. Students-at-large are not eligible for financial aid.
Registration is easy!
You can pay with cash, credit card or electronic check, or sign up for a for an interest-free montly payment plan. Your registration is temporary until you either select or complete a payment option or click on the "Finalize Registration" button if no payment is due at that time.
