International students are requested to submit the following to the International Student Office at least eight weeks prior to the beginning of the semester in which they intend to begin their studies:

No transfer eligibility form is required for Harper College.
After you have been accepted by Harper College, you must contact their current school
to request that their SEVIS record be transferred to Harper College, The Harper College
School Code can be found in your Admission letter. Once the SEVIS record is received by Harper College and you have registered for your
first term, an updated, Harper College Form I-20 will be issued.
Once you complete the international student admission process by submitting the fees and all the required documents, you will be admitted to Harper College and a Form I-20 issued.

Health Insurance
Mandatory health insurance is required for all Harper College international students.
Estimated annual fee is about $1,300.00; coverage for injuries and illnesses are a
maximum of $250,000. Please request a brochure describing Harper College's health
insurance for international students. DO NOT BUY AN INSURANCE POLICY PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL AT HARPER COLLEGE OR YOU WILL
PAY FOR TWO POLICIES.
