The college does not require requesters to use a FOIA request form. Any written (including email) FOIA request is acceptable.
Under the provision of the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, the college has five business days (21 business days for commercial requests) to respond after a request is received.
A description of Harper College, an organizational chart and other institutional information can be accessed electronically on the Planning page and the Consumer Information page of the Harper College website. These records are prominently displayed on the bulletin board near the Student Center information desk, Building A, Room A236 (visit maps.harpercollege.edu for a campus map). They are also available at the following locations: Admissions Outreach, Business Office, Center for New Students and Orientation, Human Resources, One Stop, Police Department, President's Office, Provost's Office, Registrar's Office, Wojcik Conference Center, the Learning and Career Center and the Education and Work Center.
There is no fee for up to 50 pages of standard black-and-white paper copies. The college may charge 15 cents per page for pages beyond 50 or the actual cost of reproducing records in other formats. The college also may charge fees for voluminous or commercial requests as permitted by FOIA Section 6. 5 ILCS 140/6.
