Apply what you’ve learned in the introductory course through case studies, situational, and role-playing activities. All required topics are covered including listing presentations, buyer representations, designated agency disclosure; request writing purchase agreements; presenting, negotiating, countering offers; handling multiple offers and counteroffers; and managing assistants. There will be demonstration examples of a market analysis, seller net sheet, and buyer closing costs. To sit for the licensing exam, you must be 18 years of age and have a GED or be a HS graduate. Allows students to sit for the Illinois Leasing Agent License Exam. Covers fair housing issues relating to residential leasing, advertising and marketing issues, leases and applications, credit reports, owner-tenant relationships, owner tenant laws, handling of funds, and environmental issues relating to residential real property. Follows strict state requirements for attendance and examination with a grade of 75% or better. Requires students to be 18 years of age and have a GED or be a high school graduate.
