Sharing a studio together for over fifteen years has made Shaw and Postiglione each other’s best critics. Their abstract painting and drawing work feels simultaneously inspired by the other and vastly disparate. Postiglione employs a hard edge and clear geometry while Shaw explores a more natural process and organic layers. Shaw has actively shown her work since retiring from a career in architecture. Postiglione is Professor Emeritus at Columbia College Chicago with an exhibition record spanning 50 years. They live and work in Chicago.
