The hallmark of Rosby’s work has always been ceramic sculptural objects grounded in the traditions of functional clay pottery. The pieces in this exhibition are part of a new body of work that marks a new chapter in Rosby’s life. After 28 years as Professor of Art and head of the Ceramics program, he retired from Harper in 2019. He lives and works in Chicago and has exhibited and sold his work around the country.
