Chicago-based Juan Angel Chávez is a Mexican artist born in La Junta, Chihuahua Mexico. Chávez focuses on sculptures and site specific installations made of wood, old signage and found objects. His work has been exhibited internationally and earned him several prestigious awards including the Richard H. Driehaus Individual Artist Award, Louis Comfort Tiffany Award, Artadia Artist Award and others.
