Careers in Supply Chain Management

Supply chain management is a field that requires analytical and attention to detail. As a supply chain manager, you will be responsible for managing employment and supply levels, selecting supply transportation, developing supply plans, and negotiating with suppliers.

You will use computers and inventory management systems to produce proper supply levels, good value supply contracts, efficient transportation routes.

To be successful in this field, you need to have strong negotiation skills. Most supply chain managers have an associate's degree.
