Harper College

Concurrent Enrollment

High School Students

Earn college credit while still in high school

Harper College’s Concurrent Enrollment is designed for High School Junior and Senior status (or students age 16+) who demonstrate college readiness both academically and emotionally. Students can earn college credits by taking courses at Harper during the summer, fall, or spring semesters.

Each student's high school transcripts and ACT/SAT/PSAT scores are reviewed to determine their college readiness. Students can take Harper College Placement Exams, if they do not have ACT/SAT/PSAT scores. Students also have to meet prerequisites for the course they wish to take.

Once the student’s application has been reviewed, all students must have an interview with an Academic Advisor to assess the student’s emotional readiness to take on the challenges of college courses at a community college where classmates may be much older.

We are now accepting Early College Concurrent applications for Fall 2024 semester until August 9th:
