Browser History and Cache

Desktop Browsers

Google Chrome

  • In the browser bar, enter: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
  • At the top of the "Clear browsing data" window, click Advanced.
  • Select the following: Cached images and files
  • From the "Time range" drop-down menu select All time.
  • Click clear data
  • Now restart Chrome or reload the tab you where working with.

Mozilla Firefox

  • From the History drop down menu, select Clear Recent History.
  • From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select Everything.
  • Next to "Details", click the down arrow to choose Cache.
  • Click Clear Now.
  • Exit/quit all browser windows or reload open tabs.

Microsoft Edge

  • In the top right, click the icon.
  • Click the History icon , and then select Clear all history.
  • Select Cached data and files. Then Click Clear.
  • After you see the (All Clear!) message, exit the browser or reload tabs.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

  •  Select Tools > Safety > Delete browsing history....
  • Unselect the preserve favorites website data option
  • Select the following:
    • Temporary Internet files / Temporary Internet files and website files
  • Click Delete.
  • Exit the browser or refresh open windows.
