Former President, NFLPA Former Players Chicago Chapter
Tim is one of seven children (#5) grew up in Hoffman Estates IL. He attended St Hubert’s school from 3rd grade to 8th grade, Conant High School, William Rainy Harper Jr. College and received his college degree from Northern Illinois University-NIU.
During his college years, Tim played Quarterback for Harper JC and NIU. He went on to lead NIU to a Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championship and a victory in the 1983 California Bowl. Tim was named MVP of his team and the MAC “Player of the Year” winning the “Jefferson Trophy”. Tim was inducted into the National Junior College and Northern Illinois University Halls of Fame.
Prior to joining the “real world”, Tim played 7 years in the NFL as a fullback/special team’s captain for the Atlanta Falcons, Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. During his tenure, he was noted as one of the top Special Team players in the NFL and was voted Special Teams Captain, NFL Runner Up for Special Teams Player of the Year, NFL Pro Bowl-1st Alternate two years in a row, and Special Teams Player of the Year with the Los Angeles Rams.
The leadership skills demonstrated in these roles has served Tim well in business and has benefited the communities of which he has been a part. Tim is a member of the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) Former Players/Chicago Chapter. Following a three-year term as President and earning “Chapter of the Year”. Tim is dedicated to inspiring kids, and applies the leadership skills he has developed across the spectrum of his personal and professional life. He has a unique perspective on the nature and value of high-quality leadership and offers his clients the benefit of his skills in identifying, assessing and working with current and future leaders.
