ambulance responding as soon as possible.

In a situation where an individual has sustained a non-life-threatening injury, employees should notify their supervisor and proceed to NCH Outpatient Care Center in Building M. Students and guests may seek services at NCH Outpatient Care Center, however they will be responsible for all service costs. Students and guests can also seek medical attention from their own primary care physician.

If the injury was due to a work-related event, the supervisor should complete the Incident Injury Report along with the injured employee, and email it to both EHSRM and Human Resources. Environmental Health, Safety & Risk Management (EHSRM) will conduct the incident investigation. Human Resources will handle all Workers' Compensation and lost time in association with the incident.
Students and guests may seek services at NCH Care Center in Building M (see hours above). However, they are responsible for all service costs. They may also seek treatment from their own primary care physician.
If the injury was due to a classroom-related event, notify the instructor. Instructors should complete the Student Injury Report Form and email it to EHSRM.
It is important to fill out the appropriate injury report form as soon as possible, with as much detail as you can remember. The purpose of incident reporting is to investigate the event and develop ways to prevent reoccurrence.
