As a new Harper student, this guide will help you through each step of the enrollment process.

Apply online at harpercollege.edu/apply. Payment of a $25 nonrefundable fee is required at the time of application.
Submit official transcripts directly from the high school(s) and college(s) you indicated on your application. If you are transferring military, foreign or college credit from another institution, transcripts will be evaluated automatically based on the following criteria: general education courses, direct equivalent courses to Harper courses and general elective courses.

The MyHarper Portal and HarperMobile App are your primary source of information and communication from the college. Please become familiar with them before the semester begins.

Before you can attend your orientation/advising appointment and register for classes, a review of your application is required with an Admissions Specialist. Application reviews can be held via chat, email, phone and video. During the review, we will discuss your area of interest, program of study, placement exams, financial plan and answer any questions you have about getting started.

All degree-seeking students are assessed in both English and math.
Placement exams may be waived for students who demonstrate college readiness in other ways, including relevant SAT/ACT scores or college coursework from another college or university. For complete details, review important information about Course Placement Testing and College Readiness.
