1.

2.  Perform a simple keyword search or an advanced search for title, author, subject etc.

3.  Review results. You may want to refine your search by using the subject terms from a good book.

4. Right click on the title you want to use and "Copy link location" or "Copy shortcut". (You can also right click properties and copy the URL.)

The URL that you have copied will look something like this:

http://prox1.harpercollege.edu:2096/lib/harpercollege/docDetail.action?docID=10118455&p00=shakespeare

5. Copy only the number portion of the URL (between the equal signs in red above) and paste that number after this exact URL:  http://site.ebrary.com/lib/harpercollege/docDetail.action?docID=10118455&p00

6.  You're almost done.  You must also cut and paste the remote access proxy link in front of the ebook link above.      remote access link:
http://prox1.harpercollege.edu:2048/login?url=

See example:     http://prox1.harpercollege.edu:2048/login?
url=http://site.ebrary.com/lib/harpercollege/
docDetail.action?docID=10118455&p00

7.  Inserting the finished link into Blackboard as an "External Link" is easiest. (Go to the Control Panel, navigate to the appropriate place, and select "External Link".)
