Link to a Full-Text Journal Article in Blackboard

1.  Go to the Library website: http://dept.harpercollege.edu/library
2.  Click on: Articles & More
3.  Click on "EBSCOhost databases"
4.  Choose one or more databases based on your discipline.
5.  Perform an Advanced Search. Enter search terms. Check the "full text box".
6.  Review results. You may want to refine your search by using the subject terms from a good article. You can sort your results by "Date descending" by clicking on "Relevance sort".
7.  Find the article you want to use and click on the blue hyperlinked title.
8.  Look in the column on the right hand side of your screen for the "permalink". Copy that link.
9.  Paste that permalink into Blackboard. Adding it as an "External Link" is easiest. (Go to the Control Panel, navigate to the appropriate place, and select "External Link".)
