Link to a Full-Text Journal Article in Blackboard

| 1. Go to the Library website: http://dept.harpercollege.edu/library | |
| 2. Click on: Articles & More | |
| 3. Click on "EBSCOhost databases" | |
| 4. Choose one or more databases based on your discipline. | |
| 5. Perform an Advanced Search. Enter search terms. Check the "full text box". |

| 6. Review results. You may want to refine your
search by using the subject terms from a good article. You can sort your results by "Date descending" by clicking on "Relevance sort". |

| 7. Find the article you want to use and click on the blue hyperlinked title. |

| 8. Look in the column on the right hand side of your screen for the "permalink". Copy that link. |

| 9. Paste that permalink into Blackboard. Adding it as an "External Link" is easiest. (Go to the Control Panel, navigate to the appropriate place, and select "External Link".) | ![]() |
