This recommended transfer program
for art students meets the requirements for an associate in arts degree
and the recommendations of the Illinois Articulation art education major
panel. Students should check individual school requirements before completing
the curriculum as outlined. Admission into baccalaureate art education programs
is competitive; completion of these courses alone does not guarantee admission.

- Recommended: HST 111 or HST
112, PSC 101, PSY 101. Approved electives are listed with the requirements
for the associate degrees.
- Select at least one media-specific course from the following in
consultation with an Art Department advisor: ART 206, ART 225, ART
261, ART 291, ART 296. If more than one course is selected, they should
be from different media.
