These requirements apply to students who first enrolled for Fall 2000 or later. Students who first enrolled prior to Fall 2000 should obtain the appropriate sheet of requirements from Student Development Center.

1. Completion of the associate in fine arts–art degree does not fulfill the requirements of the Illinois General Education core curriculum. After transfer, associate in fine arts–art students will need to complete the general education requirements of the institution to which they transfer.

2. A portfolio review is required with an art advisor after the completion of the first two semester of art course requirements before starting any other art courses. The Art Department strongly recommends that associate in fine arts–art candidates also take two semesters of ART 100 for its professional career content.

3. Credit will not be granted for both MGT 225 and MTH 165

4. Check with a Student Development faculty member regarding the maximum number of credits that will be accepted in transfer.

Note: No more than two GEG and two HST courses (except HST 105) may be used to fulfill Groups 1-5.
